The Sunshine Of My Life

Golden bodies on golden beaches, glistening in the sun generously lathered in baby oil or rich fragrant multiple layers of salubrious coconut oil. Macho Men reeking in testosterone, egotistically waxing their boards. Others arrogantly strolling flexing muscles glistening with oil, amongst the close scrutiny of the minimally clad g-string giggling girls.
The barmy hot days of summer filled with excitement.Teens piled into the back of panel-vans, stereos blaring eskies loaded to the hilt with ice cold drinks, bread and sausages to sizzle on the barbeque- off like a rockets in a shower of dust full speed down the highway to the luring golden beach....

Just the mere thought now of the concept of 'baby oil' how it was loved for the fast sizzle effect, no not for the sausages....it is even more inconceivable how mums were encouraged to even use it on the babies, let alone themselves, has me beat ! It was the 'in thing' to do.
Amazing how the power of suggestion from the media becomes 'The norm'
Who's the sausage now...

It just wasn't cool to be seen dressed in soft white healthy ivory white skin and still isn't in many areas. Some even considered it unhealthy, pasty, sullen and anemic.
The media has turned us all into human guinea pigs.

After all the truth in reality it is the sheer beauty of the china doll complexion that express true health and inner well being. Clear pure ageless timeless skin.

If only we had been warned of the truth as a part of "the norm" in an equally powerful of suggestion via the media.
And yet some still say "It won't happen to me, I have good skin" The fact is we are All at risk.

The sun is in fact toxic, causes premature aging, rapidly converting the once precious clear beauty of a china doll into a tatty old patchwork puppet on strings.
Often with missing ears or at worse nose.
Endless new patches, strings firmly attached to never ending long visits to the doll hospital for yet another patch up, constantly prodded with pins, needles, large cuts to the bone, stitched up in every imaginable limb.
Every patch forms the story of a life's both work + play, under the light of the earth - The Sun.
to be continued
